Recharge

If you’re feeling frazzled, then taking some time to relax and recharge will help you to keep calm when faced with the challenges of children. Ask your partner to keep the children downstairs while you take a bath, read for an hour or even just have a sort and tidy without being asked a million questions.

Set a good example

Show your children that it’s important that adults look after themselves and have some time to do what they want. We encourage our children to follow their dreams and tell them they can do anything they put their mind to, well the same applies to us. Set aside some time to lead the life you want to.  You’ll be happier for it and you will be showing your children by example. Practice what you preach!
