Busy Mum? Take some time for you!

If you’re a busy Mum, then you undoubtedly have enough tasks to fill your week and then some. Booking a facial or taking some time out to relax might be bottom of your list of things to do or not even on the list but here are a few reasons why you should….

If you’re feeling frazzled, then taking some time to relax and recharge will help you to keep calm when faced with the challenges of children. Ask your partner to keep the children downstairs while you take a bath, read for an hour or even just have a sort and tidy without being asked a million questions.

Set a good example

Show your children that it’s important that adults look after themselves and have some time to do what they want. We encourage our children to follow their dreams and tell them they can do anything they put their mind to, well the same applies to us. Set aside some time to lead the life you want to.  You’ll be happier for it and you will be showing your children by example. Practice what you preach!

Look after your body

Having children and a busy life sometimes means our body and our skin get neglected. If you are in your 30s now is the time to start looking after your body -including your skin. Prevention is better than cure and this is the age to make sure you aren’t leaving it too late. It doesn’t have to take long, but a little time set aside each day for a good skincare routine is time well spent.
