Five tips for complexion perfection…

As we get older, our skin tends to thin and sag which can result in fine lines and wrinkles. If like me, you are keen to combat these conditions in whichever way you can – then you’ve come to the right place. The following steps for complexion perfection are easy additions to your skincare routine and can help keep those wrinkles at bay.

1) The wonders of water

No doubt you already know this, but are you really acting on it? Do you definitely drink the water your body needs, every single day? I am guessing the answer to that is no, so it’s time to start now if you want amazing skin. According to experts, water is essential for young, fresh and hydrated skin. There are several factors which affect how much we need to drink, including how much you exercise, health conditions and where you live. The best rule of thumb is to sip water throughout the day. The colour of your urine can also help tell you if you’re getting enough – if it is clear or pale yellow, you are.

2) Never skimp on the SPF

Ladies, simply do not, under any circumstances go without your sunscreen every single day – even in the autumn and winter. Every morning before leaving the house, apply SPF under your makeup and if you will be outdoors for a length of time, make sure you top-up every few hours. Get your SkinBase SPF in the shop.

3) Say yes to spinach

If you want your skin to look healthy, then spinach is a good place to start as it is full to the brim of vitamins A and C, swap lettuce for spinach in your salads. This super food also contains beta-carotene, which your body converts to vitamin A. Spinach is a powerhouse when it comes to keeping dull skin at bay.

4) Yes please to the amazing zzzz!

Bed is brilliant for your skin as getting enough rest helps keep your skin glowing and radiant. Try getting at least seven hours each night claim experts. Once you see the skin benefits, you’ll be wanting to hit the hay sooner and sooner every night to dose up on this wonder stuff!

5) Give skin an amazing spring clean with the SkinBase™ Facial

The SkinBase™ Facial is a safe, controlled treatment that intensely exfoliates and resurfaces the skin.  A fine jet of abrasive crystals gently removes dead skin cells layer by layer and a vacuum action lifts away the debris, stimulating the blood flow and encouraging collagen and elastin formation that results in firmer, revitalised and youthful looking skin. Wrinkles disappear, acne scarring is reduced and dull and tired skin is completely banished – sometimes after just one treatment.
