Moisturising is key. Use a rich hand cream with moisturising ingredients like shea butter and hyaluronic acid. Always moisturise after washing hands to stop the skin drying out. Aim to keep moisturisers close to sinks at home and carry a handy bottle in your bag. This will protect them and keep them soft and supple. 

2. SPF

Protect your hands from the sun. Exposure to the sun causes age spots, wrinkles and  thinning skin. Thin skin means veins become more prominent. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) and reapply throughout the day. Not only does this provide an extra layer of moisture, it protects from UV damage which accelerates ageing.
