Microdermabrasion training support
We offer free ABT and Beauty Guild accredited microdermabrasion training to all our therapists.
SkinBase™ training aims to make sure that therapists understand their client’s skincare needs and can use perform the SkinBase treatments confidently. Our experienced SkinBase™ trainers will demonstrate the MDPro system and how to use the handset correctly to carry out the treatment.
Results can be greatly affected by how the therapist performs the treatment and so it is important for the therapist to ensure they are confident in their method before treating clients.
At the end of the training therapists will have the knowledge required to safely and effectively operate the SkinBase™ MDPro and appreciate the health and safety issues of treatment and equipment maintenance.
Accreditation
Your SkinBase™ training is Beauty Guild accredited. On completion of your course with one of our experienced trainers you will receive your personalised training certificate and “SkinBase™ Authorised Professional” badge.
To access SkinBase™ Microdermabrasion training you will need a Beauty Therapy NVQ level 2 or above (or equivalent) or to have already completed a Basic Facials Course. If you haven’t yet completed a basic facials course, we can help:
SkinBase™ One Day Facials Course
Beauty Guild approved course which covers: Skincare, the relevant A&P, health & safety, skin types, skin conditions, consultation, contra-indications and facial procedures including massage.
Course Duration: 1 Day
CPD Points: 10
Certificate Type: Facial & Skincare Diploma
Entry Requirements: None, just a general interest in facials and skincare.
Cost: £145/Person or £45/Person if you will be taking a SkinBase™ Microdermabrasion Machine.

We want you to get the most from the SkinBase™ system. The support doesn’t end with your training. The MDPro comes with four years warranty and unlimited telephone support.
In the unlikely event that something does go wrong with your system, please call us on 01782 770810 to speak to a member of our support team. We will endeavour to resolve any problem immediately over the telephone.
Technical support is free for all of our therapists and if you are Pay As You Go, then machine servicing is covered in your weekly payment fee.
