FAQs
How do I get clients to come in and try the treatment during the 2 weeks?
We will provide you with free marketing support which will be sent to you well in advance of the start of your trial. This will include leaflets and posters to raise awareness in your salon, and invitations and incentive cards to give to clients.
How many treatments should a client have?
SkinBase™ recommend a course of 6-8, people with acne or acne scarring might need more treatments and we recommend a monthly maintenance treatment after the course has finished to help maintain the results achieved.
How often should clients have treatments?
Treatments are usually performed every 7 to 10 days.
How quickly will my clients see results?
They will see results immediately and with each subsequent treatment their skin will continue to look progressively better.
What types of products should I use to complement the SkinBase™ Facial?
SkinBase provide a professional range of products that are formulated to complement your SkinBase microdermabrasion treatment. They are gentle and soothing; free from MI and Vegan and cruelty free. The important thing is that all products are soothing and hydrating and do not contain any of the following: AHA’s, Glycolics, Retinol, Botanicals, Essential Oils.
Do you offer training?
Yes. We currently offer a comprehensive half day training session with one of our experienced SkinBase™ trainers completely free of charge. Once you have completed your training, if you do have any other questions regarding the treatment process our trainers are available to offer advice for as long as you have the machine.
Is the 2 week trial really free?
Yes, the trial is completely free. These 2 weeks allow you to see the results for yourself and decide, without any pressure, if you think the MDPro will work in your business. You will also keep any earnings you make from using the machine during this period.
What’s included in the SkinBase™ skincare range?
Included in your starter pack will be our ‘Essentials range’ which includes the following: Salon starter pack 1 x Purifying Gel Cleanser, 1 x Daily Protect SPF 1 x Hydration Max, 1 x Soothing Toner. For PAYG customers this pack will be included in every microdermabrasion service pack which is included in your PAYG agreement at no extra cost. Further products to retail can be purchased at our wholesale prices. There is no minimum order.
