Clinical Training
At SkinBase™ we believe in maintaining the highest standards. Two days training is provided and our clinical training is recognised by ABT. The first day of training for hair reduction treatments takes place at our Training Facility.
Unlimited ongoing support from our trainers and a full training manual will be at your disposal. A further day’s training will be offered to introduce the Advanced skin treatments. You can also attend refresher training and have new members of staff trained for free.
We require every operator to have an ‘IPL Room’ in their business. This room can be used to perform other treatments but the room must adhere to minimum standards. We will help you with this and we will provide all safety signage, LPA certification (where required), risk assessments and local rules required within the package.
Am I qualified?
To be an operator you must be: a level 2 qualified Beauty Therapist (with a minimum 3 years’ experience), a Medical Practitioner or a Registered Nurse.
Every clinic must have one designated IPL Supervisor. We will provide the extra training required for this.
SkinBase™ IPL is available to Beauty Salons, Dentists and Clinics. Unfortunately we are unable to offer IPL to Mobile therapists due to the necessary room requirements.
