Microdermabrasion Day Wednesday 19th May – Have you booked?

Have you booked in for your microdermabrasion treatments yet since salons have reopened?  What better time than on our microdermabrasion day next Wednesday! There are still a few slots available at various locations so find your nearest therapist on the link below and get booked in. And here’s why you should…

Support your local salon

The beauty industry was closed due to Covid for several months, so let’s show our therapists how much they mean to us by booking in for some pampering. Your microdermabrasion treatments will leave your skin feeling first-class after some serious attention.

Microdermabrasion is chemical-free and non-invasive with no nasties and no needles, and yet it can achieve amazing results for a number of skin concerns revealing younger, healthier-looking skin from the very first treatment.

No downtime

There might be some mild redness after your microdermabrasion but for most people, this should disappear pretty quickly, so you can get straight back to your day. Remember to keep well hydrated and moisturise regularly after treatment.

Enhances healing

If you suffer from spots and breakouts, Microdermabrasion will help these heal more quickly and reduce the redness and inflammation by stimulating the circulation and encouraging new collagen production.

Prevent further breakouts

Microdermabrasion’s deep cleansing action helps to remove excess oil, which can otherwise settle in the pores and cause blockages and blackheads, leading to spots.

Skincare products absorb easily

Exfoliating away all the old skin allows much better absorption of products after a microdermabrasion treatment. We recommend using SkinBase products like the homecare cream as this has been specially formulated for use after microdermabrasion.

Makeup applies more evenly

The newly exfoliated skin means that when you come to apply your makeup (we advise waiting 12 hours but you can use mineral makeup if you can’t go without), it will glide on smoothly and evenly.
