I just want to share my amazing experience with Skinbase. I have been a Skinbase customer for as long as I remember! Firstly I had a pay as you go option, for many years. I then purchased a machine from them in 2021. Recently I had issues with my machine (Feb 2025) and needed to send my machine in for repair. Unfortunately there was an issue with DPD which delayed Skinbase receiving my machine.
During this time, I had consistent phone calls from a lady (sorry I can't remember her name!) who was updating me on this situation. She then sent out a temporary machine for our salon t use, to ensure we had no loss of business.
I can honestly say in my 10+ years of working with Skinbase, their customer service is OUTSTANDING! In this day, it's not often you deal with a company who are willing to go above and beyond in terms of customer service. I just wanted to say, it stands out! And we are forever grateful for your help and amazing service!
We have recently just launched the hydrofacial, so I wanted to add, what an amazing idea for people/salons already offering Microdermabrasion. It is a fab service that you can easily add on to your treatment menu with the same machine for a very low cost!

I had my training today and it was a fantastic experience. My trainer has to be the nicest most patient person I have ever been taught by. She is a credit to this company and I'm really grateful to have learnt from her . Kirsty

I am writing this review regretfully but felt it necessary to share the awful experience I have had with Skinbase. I rented a machine from them for microdermabrasion, in which during the second lockdown, they said they would freeze the monthly payments for the machine, which I opted for. I provided them this request in writing, in which they completely ignored and instead continued to take the weekly payments.
When I approached them for a refund they said they are unable to refund due to pandemic, when they initially asked if I wanted to freeze the payments. We both are in same position being in beauty industry, so the pandemic really wasn't a valid reason to then retract my refund request.
When I began to liaise with the company and present them the evidence of me requesting the refund, the Owner became very rude, even though we were simply asking for what we were told we were allowed.
They then asked for the machine back, allowing us no future use, all because I had asked for the payment freeze I was entitled to.
We are not at all usually the company who would leave a fellow business a poor review but this has deeply affected us and opened our eyes as a business. It's such a shame.

SkinBase are an excellent company! I’m a therapist of 30 plus years and there customer service is the best. Excellent support. SkinBase Microdermabrasion is the best treatment I’ve discovered in a very long time. My clients love it!

This is where I got trained in microdermabrasion. The training is second to none. I was in a small group, spent the day studying facials and techniques. The machine is wonderful and since I qualified, have had some excellent results. If you want to add this treatment to your salon, I recommend Skinbase.
