A revitalising treatment tailored to your specific skin concerns.

So, how does Hydro work? The treatment uses a multi-step process to renew and revitalise. The peel is an excellent part of the treatment, as it is packed full of hardworking active ingredients that exfoliates the skin, helping it glow. Then, you have a choice of serums, to personalise the treatment to your specific skin concerns.

Once the serum has absorbed, your SkinBase Therapist will follow up with the SkinBase professional skincare range to lock the active ingredients into your skin, and keep it protected post-treatment. The method used during the Hydro treatment ensures a variety of benefits for the skin. Find out more about the benefits here.

1. Client Consultation

consultation

Your SkinBase Hydro therapist will carry out a thorough consultation to devise a treatment plan for your skin, including choosing the best Hydro serum for your concerns. A typical course of treatments is 3-6 treatments, though you may opt for a single session before a special event. For more problematic skin, your therapist may recommend more than 6 sessions. Treatments are performed every 2-4 weeks.

2. Cleanse & Peel

The SkinBase Purifying Gel Cleanser is used to prep the skin for the treatment, removing any makeup/impurities off of the skin. Then, the peel is applied using a vacuum action. A blend of AHAs and BHAs penetrate deep into the pores to exfoliate away dead skin cells and debris, preparing the skin for the serum. The peel is left on the skin for 3-5 minutes before being cleansed off.

3. Personalised Serum

Your SkinBase therapist will then pass the vacuum handset across the skin to infuse the selected serum deep into the treatment area, allowing the active ingredients to work immediately. After passing across the skin once, the therapist will then target problem areas with the serum.

4. SkinBase Essentials Skincare

Once the serum has absorbed into the skin, the SkinBase Essentials range will be used to lock the fantastic ingredients into your skin, and keep it moisturised and protected post-treatment. The SkinBase Soothing Toner will be spritzed across the skin, followed by the Hydration Max moisturiser and Daily Protect SPF.
