Week 2 of our healthy habits guide and this week we’re talking about the importance and benefit of maximising sleep. Healthy Habit 2 – Get at least 7 hours of sleep per night The second of our healthy habits (and our personal favourite), we recommend maximising sleep in both length and quality. Too little sleep makes you look and feel tired. One of the first places lack of sleep shows up is on your face, with dark circles, bags under the eyes and sagging skin. Wind down and switch off To give yourself the best chance of getting to sleep quickly avoid tea and coffee after lunch and turn off electronic devices at bedtime, or leave them out of the bedroom altogether. Try and see where you can make changes in your routine to allow you more time snoozing. Prepare your outfit, pack your bag, and make lunch the night before to save time in the morning.
