So The Brits have been and gone for another year, bringing out anyone and everyone from the world of music all together in one room.
It was of course going to go down as one of the most glamorous nights of 2013 despite it still only being February. One of the perhaps biggest surprises of the night for me was just how amazing Jessie J looked, starting the trend for the large number of black frocks gracing the event.
And she even accessorised to perfection, wearing 1980s Gold Tone Hoop Earrings from the Susan Caplan Vintage Collection, while co-ordinating with a Gold Tone Pyramid Ring also from Susan Caplan Vintage Collection to finish off her ensemble nicely.
Don’t get me wrong, Jessie J does have a habit of looking good no matter what colour her hair, eyeshadow, nail polish or lipstick but I guess it’s for that very reason that I am always so surprised by her. She’s a bit like a chameleon in that you never know what colour you are going to get next – almost like a modern day Linda Evangelista.
Although she is very experimental with colours, the Brits proved that she can also carry off a more demure appearance with nude lips, gold eyeshadow, brown eye liner and enviable, seemingly endless lashes!
Want to know the secret to her look at the Brits? Well it’s simple – keep your complexion matte and light allowing for maximum-effect eyes and lips. With all of Jessie J’s looks, her eyes and lips are the main focus.
