Almost so gorgeous you’re edible.

Eating healthily is not only a natural way to ensure you look and feel great, it can also be great fun. Spend time trying new vegetables, making easy dips such as humous and chopping up delicious crispy carrot sticks as a midday snack. Fish, fresh fruits and vegetables are all brilliant for your skin and body.

Giggle.

Laughing makes you live longer (or so we’ve heard and chose to believe). It’s also an extremely attractive trait and you’ll find people warm to you in an instant. Tips: try not to laugh at your bosses’ suggestions during a board meeting or when your friend tells you she’s broken up with her boyfriend.

Consume healthy liquids

There’s a reason doctors, scientists and beauty professionals tell you to drink at least 2 litres of water a day – water flushes away the toxins and gives your skin that natural glow. Avoid drinking caffeinated drinks as far as possible (although most of us enjoy that first morning coffee!). Alcohol dries out the skin, so try drinking lots of water to compensate when you’re on a night out.

Exfoliate your skin to waken it up and give you a healthy glow.

Exfoliating your skin is incredibly important – without exfoliation, dead skin cells form and clog pores, leaving you prone to outbreaks and oily skin tone. Try weekly microdermabrasion treatments, especially if your skin looks dull and could do with a proper clean. Trust me, its worth a little extra cash when the compliments from friends (and men!) begin to roll in.

Smile.

People look beautiful when they smile. You’ll reveal a new you. It sounds like a cliché, but I’ve never known anyone look better frowning than they do smiling. Fact. Avoid drinking carbonated drinks and lots of red wine as they have a tendency to stain you teeth.

Moisturise.

As important as exfoliating you skin is, injecting it with moisture is just as vital. A good moisturiser softens your skin, not to mention keeping wrinkles at bay. Try picking one with a high SPF to avoid damaging sunlight, which can cause pigmentation and blemishes.

Go without make up (yes, really…!)

OK, so for most of us applying war paint is one of our daily routines, if possible however, try skipping wearing make up when you don’t have to. Sunday’s on the sofa, an evening in or a night with close friends – your foundation, blusher and eye make up will clog your pores and encourage acne. Skip the foundation unless you really, really need it. Heavy makeup hides true beauty! Work on your skin instead, applying coconut oil to your face before you turn in for the night will smooth and clear your skin tone plus it treats acne. If you really can’t face wearing no make up at all, try applying a little pink blusher to your cheeks and a dash of a delicious lip gloss – beautiful!

Wear clothes you feel good in.

Yes, it sounds obvious, but have you ever noticed how much better you feel when you slip into that flattering LBD or throw on a deliciously comfy and stylish knit? You don’t need to follow every fashion trend, but learning what suits your skin tone and figure will make you look like a princess and naturally stand a little taller!

Brush your hair!

Unless you’re one of those lucky few who look as gorgeous with scruffy unkempt hair (WE HATE YOU BY THE WAY ☺) try to keep your hair brushed. Spray on a little leave-in conditioner and pump up the volume with our saviour the dry shampoo! Always wash your hair with warm to lukewarm water, never hot. Hot water strips off all the natural oils. Depending on the season, style it so that you are comfortable and your hair is protected from environmental hazards, in winter and the height of summer (uh hem – if we ever get any sunshine) wear a hat. A fashionable one of course.

Hello beautiful brows.

Aren’t your eyes so much larger once you’ve perfecting those brows? Full, thin, structured or curved – shaping your brows can make an incredible difference to your whole face. Look up some guides on how to pick the right eyebrows for your face shape first, and if you’re still not sure then go to a beautician and ask their advice.

Stand tall and watch men fall at your feet.

Roll your shoulders a few times to feel where they should be. Keep your chin up. Keep your head balanced atop your shoulders, avoiding “forward-head posture.” You’re gorgeous. Standing tall with confidence projects a much sexier you.

Sleep tight.

Make sure to get at least 8 hours of sleep each night. We’d tell you why, but it’s past our bedtime…

Get fresh air and exercise.

Both will give you a healthy glow. They also make you feel fantastic, even when you’re glowing like a tomato.

Be confident.

If you don’t feel confident, fake it. If you look confident, you will always be truly beautiful! There are so many people I know who go into meetings everyday and project a confidence that woos the whole room. Little do they know that ‘boardroom badass’ Jenny wouldn’t normally say boo to a goose.

Have confidence in yourself. It’s the most gorgeous trait.
