Rich Girl Beauty

This Autumn / Winter Forget trying to highlight one particular feature on your face, and instead opt to perfect your skin. Add a light flush to cheeks and subtle highlighting. You’re aiming for polished, sophisticated perfection, not drama.

Getting Glossy.

So forget the fact that all we can remember about lip gloss is that it’s a one way certainty to make sure your hair is stuck to your face rather than sitting angelically round your face – this old school beauty staple was all over the catwalks of New York Fashion Week – adorning not just lips, put cheeks and lips too. So if you’re after autumn, winter trends, the time is now to bring back the newer, glossier and (hopefully) less sticky version of your past beauty friend.

Baby Hairs

You know those irritating, short, wispy hairs you despise? Well, start learning to love them. Baby hairs were everywhere on the Autumn/Winter catwalks, slicked, twisted and framing models faces in sporty strands. We’re not sure about you, but we’re pretty sure this trend is only for the brave. Will you be trying it out?

Lashings of Mascara

If you’re opting out of the ‘rich-girl beauty look’, then you’ll be pleased to know that one of our already favourite beauty trends will still be on point this Autumn Winter. According to Vogue, it’s all about layer upon layer of mascara – creating a doll-like look. Time to stock up…

The Up Do.

Forget the loose wave of summer, this Autumn / Winter it’s all about classic up do’s. Try high buns, classic chignons or a topknot pony. Want to add a splash of catwalk glamour? The very best up do trends will be adorned with a couture style clip or jewelled hairpiece.

Bye, bye red lips.

It’s a sad day when we have to admit that the red lip might be taking a back seat, but it’s undeniable that catwalks were favouring rich berry hues, pale pinks and warm blush tones over a statement look. Variety is the spice of life!

Good luck!
