Well I have to admit, celebrities tend to look flawless, everyday. And while that no doubt has a lot to do with having make up artists, personal trainers and specialist chefs on hand 24 hours a day, there are some celebrities who have quick tips that leave them looking incredible. I’m always interested in tips that let me look good, pronto, and if you’re anything like me, then these celebrity beauty tricks will be just the ticket!

The art of the eyeliner

I love liquid eyeliner, but to get that celeb look, why not try something that’s cream or gel based instead. These formulas are a little more forgiving if you need to fix your lines or make a mistake. To create the perfect curve for a winged look, the best thing to do is pretend that there’s a subtly curved line going from the very end of your eyebrow to the outer corner of your upper eyelid, and then trace your line a quarter of the way between them. Et voila!

Skin that glistens

Just because we are referring to celebrity beauty tricks, doesn’t mean you have to spend lots of money, in fact, some of them can save you money as well as time! Rather than spending heaps of time and money on pricey spa treatments, just use good old body oil! Baby oil is a little too greasy so avoid that. Instead, look for something more natural, and always remember ladies… less is more!

Radiant and dewy skin

This trick comes courtesy of make up artists to the one and only, Sarah Jessica Parker – and let’s be honest SJP’s skin is always gorgeous. To help achieve dewy, radiant skin, it’s time to get your hands on a cream based highlighter, which you should apply in a C-shape from the topmost portion of your cheekbone up to your temple. Blend it into your skin – and that’s it! Shade wise, if your complexion is dark, go for bronze, if you have fair skin, then a highlighter with a champagne or silver tint will be perfect and if your skin tone is more medium, get something gold.

Sculpt those cheekbones

Style icon Victoria Beckham has cheekbones to die for so you may well be wondering, just what does she do to make them look so sculpted? Well ladies, you have to suck in those cheeks, and sweep powder over their hollows – beige if you have fair skin, bronzer if you have a darker complexion. To achieve the best results try swirling instead of swiping or going up and down. Finish up with a rosy shade of blush on the very tops of your cheeks.

The classic red lip

If anything shouts out celebrity glam, it’s the classic red lip look and the good news is it doesn’t have to take a long time to perfect. The reason it’s so perfect is because it instantly transforms your entire look – and yet it’s so simple! Scarlett Johansson really knows how to pull off a stunning red lip, and she makes hers long lasting and smear-proof by first using a lip stain in a matching shade, then applying the lipstick. Try this trick and your colour will last all night without rubbing off on anything!
